Our kittens are gentle, affectionate, and irresistibly charming—making the perfect pets for families located anywhere in the US. We have proudly placed kittens not only in Kansas and Missouri but also in Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, North Dakota, and beyond.
Our Kitten Application & Reservation Process
Finding the right home for each of our kittens is very important to us. We ask all prospective families to complete a Kitten Application so we can learn a little about you, your home, and what you are looking for in a Ragdoll.
Once we receive your application, we will review it and reach out by text or email. This also gives us an opportunity to answer your questions, talk about upcoming litters, and help determine which kitten may be the best fit for your family.
There is no fee to apply and no obligation to purchase a kitten simply because your application has been approved.
When kittens become available for reservation, approved families may reserve a kitten with a $500 non-refundable deposit. The deposit is applied toward the $2,800 pet price, with the remaining balance due according to the terms of our kitten contract.
We typically begin accepting reservations when kittens are approximately 6 weeks old, once we have had time to watch them develop and their individual personalities begin to emerge.
If you are interested in a current or future August Ragdolls kitten, we encourage you to apply even if we do not have an available kitten at the moment. Having an approved application on file allows us to keep you updated as future kittens become available.
Ragdoll Litter — Sunrise × Astro
We have bred TICA and CFA Champion Painted Sunrise (“Sunny”) to our TICA Regional Winner, Supreme Grand Champion and CFA Champion Astro.
We are very excited to share that Sunny appears to be expecting her first litter with Astro! All signs are pointing to a successful breeding, with kittens anticipated around September 26, 2026. If everything continues as expected, kittens should be ready to join their new families around late December to early January.
We are especially excited about this pairing as it will be Astro’s first litter and brings together two cats we absolutely adore. We can’t wait to see what Sunny and Astro produce together—both in beautiful Ragdoll type and, hopefully, those wonderful personalities we love so much.
If you are interested in a kitten from this litter or a future August Ragdolls litter, we encourage you to submit a kitten application. An approved application allows us to have your information on file and contact you as kittens become available. Submitting an application does not obligate you to purchase a kitten.
Reservations typically open once kittens are 6 weeks old and personalities begin to emerge.

Our Ragdoll kittens are $2,800 as pets. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a kitten and is applied toward the total purchase price.
Yes. Every August Ragdolls kitten is covered by our written health guarantee. Our kittens receive a veterinary health examination before leaving our home, and we provide their health records at pickup.
We believe protecting the health of our kittens begins long before they are born through careful breeding decisions, health screening of our breeding cats, and proper veterinary care throughout kittenhood.
Our health guarantee and the responsibilities of both the breeder and the new owner are explained in detail in our kitten contract. We encourage families to review the contract before reserving a kitten so there are no surprises and everyone understands what is expected.
We also remain available to our kitten families after their kitten goes home. If you ever have a health concern or question, we want you to reach out to us.
Our kittens typically go to their new homes between 12–14 weeks of age. The exact timing is based on each kitten’s individual development, health, and readiness. We will never send a kitten home simply because it has reached a certain date on the calendar. We will send you lots of pictures and videos to make the wait go by quickly.
Absolutely. You do not need to wait for a litter to be born to submit an application. Having an approved application on file allows us to contact you as kittens become available and gives us a better idea of what you are looking for.

We do not maintain a traditional numbered waiting list. Once kittens are old enough for us to begin evaluating them and we are ready to accept reservations, we work with approved families who are interested in the available kittens.
We understand that families may have preferences for certain colors, patterns, or genders, and we are happy to keep those preferences in mind. However, we encourage families to consider personality and temperament as well as appearance when choosing a kitten.
Our goal is not simply to help you choose the prettiest kitten in a photo—it is to help you find a Ragdoll that will be a wonderful fit for your family for many years to come.
Show and breeding prospects may occasionally be available to approved homes. These placements are evaluated individually and are not guaranteed with every litter. Please indicate your interest in showing or breeding when completing your application so we can discuss whether we may have an appropriate kitten for your goals.
We work with families throughout the United States and can discuss transportation options when necessary. Any travel arrangements are made with the kitten’s safety and comfort as the priority.
Our relationship doesn’t end when your kitten leaves our home. We love receiving updates and watching our kittens grow, and we are always available to our kitten families for questions and support throughout their cat’s life.
